The three days of field visits and presentations in the Central Valley area, with the California Conservation Tillage Workgroup and Southern California Edison was an eye opening visit. We were exposed to numerous farmers that have a different mindset of using firm conservation measures that save water, save time, fuel, and manpower. With two and three crops grown in the same calendar year in the same field, wisest management they have is to employee precision tillage in their row crops. The workgroup along with Edison Power and Light advertised well ahead of time and helped obtain newsworthy speakers.
