During the week of September 13-16th the finicky Nebraska weather made the freshly combined field where we all were to run the demonstrations a bit trying. With some adjustments we ran and did fantastic showing the versatility and capabilities of the Orthman 1tRIPr. The heavy residue did not stop us from going right through and making perfect strips that growers stated “we could plant into these” words. Crowds were excellent all three days and the people coming to demo’s were well pleased.
The picture to the left is our 1tRIPr pulling through the freshly combined corn in the HHD field. Doing just like it is supposed to!
Mike Petersen, our agronomist is heading to South Africa (9/20-27/2010) to work with growers and our Orthman dealer to provide assistance as strip-till is gaining with growers. Watch for an update from him soon.
